my stupid ? of the day.on hot water systems we usually place valve on bottom of radiator and return 90 on the other side.i have also come across when we could not rough in the rad this way.instead we would put valve on top and return 90 on bottom but on the same side, bleeder is opposite the valve and plug the other opening on bottom of rad.both work, but which is the correct way.thanks.

For a small radiator
either way will work. But I'd avoid using a same-end hookup on a long rad, since the water might not circulate all the way to the other end.All Steamed Up, Inc.
