Burnham Plug and play

in THE MAIN WALL
Just wired my outdoor reset for my new Burnham MPO. I have an indirect DHWH. Does anyone no whether or not I have to adjust the boiler temp now to the same setting as my hot water indirect (135 deg.)? I now it's plug and play but I feel the limit settings should be adjusted. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot known about them in my area.

    Its just that...plug and play. As long as your aquastat for your DHWH it tied in correctly (terminals 3-4 on the outdoor reset card), that will bypass the ODR on a dhw call.

    im looking into this boiler as a replacement for my old war horse downstairs.how is it going for you and would you recomend it.any chance of a pic of the installation

    sorry i got them mixed up ,i was looking at the es2 gas fired.would you still recomend that or the pvg model which the gas company is giving a good deal on,thanks.sorry going of topic here

    Depends

    the PVG is a power-vented unit. Are you planning to vent thru an existing re-lined chimney? If so, I'd go with the ES-2.

    The sidewall vented boiler with the IQ control system like the ES2 and MPO-IQ will be out shortly. It will be powervented or direct vented take your pick.

    ESC - nSidewall vented boiler with IQ system.

    I have heard the second or third quarter of this year.
