Hey guys, it's been a 3 year hiatus, but I'm back! Anyone notice the string of bad SSU 45's lately? I have had 2 in the last few months that where only about 6 months old leak right at the well weld. Starting to lose faith fast! I have been sticking to S120's or top performers and haven't had any issues, but a client is specking a SSU and I am leary.

    Generally the one's I have been getting are 1 to 2 years old. I hope it's not an issue since I just installed one at my Father inlaw's...

    Re SSUs and weld failures

    I have only had one leaker about 2 mos ago that was appx 18 mos old. Leaked at the hot out nipple weld. I hope it is not a ongoing problem as I have quite a lot out there. Tim
