Thanks to all the advice I have gotten on this site, I am happy to say that my Smith 8 with Carlin gas burner goes in on Tuesday.



My steam guy thanks you as well - he ended up with a new supplier due to this.  If you are in Rochester, NY, Buckpitt on University Ave is the place to go.  I also have a good steam guy if you need one.
