removing air and dirt

here is a clear tube display I am building to show how combo air and dirt removers perform.

I added the typical copper shavings, solder, large chunks and they are eliminated, or settled out on the first pass.

It actually turned those shavings into a penny! :)

I had a bottle of particles flushed from an old rubber tube system. It dries to a dust almost like talcum powder. it does take multiple passes to get the very fine particles, but after an hour or so the fluid is perfectly clear.

Air is eliminated as fast as I can pump it in.

Can you reset the system by turning it upside down?

Can you reintroduce the "debris" by turning the display upside down and letting the debris fall out of the remover?

Air could be introduced by making a controlled leak on the suction side of the pump.

To collect rust, visit a welding shop with a dust pan and brush.

Do you have a charging chamber with a ball valve to allow easy access for introducing debris?

    yes I can

allow the dirt to go back into the piping. I have a valve under the remover that I open and it drops the collected dirt back into the fluid stream.
