Hello,
Please remind me. Is there an ICC code that says that boilers with installed antifreeze must be labled as having anitfreeze?
Best to you all, Arlene

Hi Arlene :-)
I don't think the code requires labeling so long as the fluid is non toxic. Common sense says it should be labeled that it contains antifreeze to keep a new, unknowing, unsuspecting first year technician from dumping thousands of dollars worth of antifreeze down the drain.
Good to see your words here.
MEIt's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.0 -
Thanks Mark
I've recently read an article you wrote about antifreeze. I guess the lable thing was something I heard and thought it was codified somewhere.
best regards, Arlene0
