Need help in figuring out heat loss

In order to use an electronic tempering valve on domestic hot water I was considering increasing the temp on the cold water by connecting it with 1/2 inch tube to the hot water (205 F) the blend should warm the cold water a bit and not shock the valve. I would like to cool this hot water a bit before it mixes with the cold water. I was considering baseboard, does anyone know how many degrees water will loose per foot of base board?
3/4 inch base board, 119 gph flowing at 50 psi.

What
I think you are complicating things too much. The point of the mixing valve is to control the temperature automatically. Baseboard fin tube is not rated for 50 psi domestic water usage.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

Thanks for responding. The mixing valve is a heatimer etv. I was informed that with out a domestic HW recirculating pump that the valve will not function properly. What do you suggest?0 -
Why electronic?
I prefer thermostatic. http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/Products/Safety+and+Security/Anti-Scald+Water+Mixing+Valves/Thermostatic+Mixing+Valve.htmCost is what you spend , value is what you get.

why electronic
The electronic one is easier to set / monitor.0 -
I don't think that the heatimer is anti-scald.
I agree with Charlie. The honeywell thermostatics are idiot proof, set them and forget them. I think you are way over complicating the issue and setting yourself up for scalding liability.0
