It's been awhile since I have posted an update (still waiting for the day I can shut down the boiler). But due to an unrelated electrical problem that involved opening up a wall, we also were able to get a good look at the supply piping to a radiator that I've been having problems with. And as previously suggested, there was one elbow and section of piping that had a decent uphill pitch to them. Once corrected, voila, we're cooking with gas again! So I just wanted to say thank you to all that have advised me so far, and I'm sure once the warmer weather hits you'll be hearing from me again...

The missing link
Congratulations on finding the buried treasure. Others have searched for decades and found nothing. It must feel pretty good to have found the problem.0
