Done quite a bit of Geo-exchange heat pump systems using coil in trench method for heat transfer. Would like to know if there is a map out there of the US that shows specific thermal transfer properties of soils based on location. I know its a long shot, but rule of thumb numbers sometimes require a large margin of error on the safe side that can make these systems non-competitive on length of payback.
