Indirect waterheaters

I've been looking into indirect fired DHW. The numbers look good as far as temperature rise and recovery and continuous flow, but I keep running into down sides that the published numbers don't take into account. These include colder than normal winter DW inlet temp, boiler flow rate, and "actual" boiler water output temp. I have a Buderus GB142-30 rated at 91000 btu. I've been looking at Amtrol WH41L or Buderus recommended ST150 to replace standard 40 gal gas waterheater. Can I expect 3rd person's morning shower to be more than luke warm, as it is now. Looking for "realistic" answers

Buderus
Hello, I have installed several Buderus GB 142-30 with ST120 indirect this winter. One customer has 4 kids, 2 younger and 2 teenagers. Have them setup as priority, houses have 4 to 5 zones on average. I have not heard of any issues without them so far, the customers are happy and there heating bills are lower. If it's piped properly I don't see any issues. There was an error rendering this rich post.
