LENNOX

I bought a LENNOX  Pulse control board Friday at 4:00 for a new customer.

Turns out it is bad (won't turn on the prepurge blower) Of course Lennox is closed at 4:30. I call the emergency number and they tell me I will have to pay an after hours fee to get a replacement for the bad part they sold me at 4:00 PM .

Turns out this is a LENNOX policy and there is no way arround it.

If I treated my customers this way I don't think I would be in business today.

If I installed a new furnace and later that day ( after 5:00 PM ) It broke down and I told the home owner they would have to pay an after hours chargeHow do you think that would go over.

I'm not a fan of Lennox

I tried ordering a fan motor & squirrel cage assembly for a Pulse furnace, and they told me that I had to set up an account with them & buy 5k worth of parts from them annually. What a joke. I ended up installing a generic, off the shelf equivalent.

    No Excuse!!

I've gone over and beyond to help my customers, whether it be the wholesale supplier, the installer or the end user,  with any problems they have.  My stickers are on every manifold I sell and I can't tell you how many times I've received a phone call from the homeowner telling me their system is down and asking if I can come repair it.  5am phone calls and I've given them names of service people or some type of direction.  In this day and age you need to do everything possible to keep the customer happy.
