What is a to the point description of the primary/secondary system?

    In heating systems

    a P/S system allows two separate hydronic circuits to work independently of each other while still allowing controlled transfer of heat from one to the other.



    A corollary explanation is that when a circulator is operating in any one circuit or both, their operation will not affect flow in the other circuit.
