I have an old 52 gal. Seidelhuber Iron and Bronze Works water heater that still works fine.
I,m curious to how old it is and if t-stat parts are available or can be retrofitted. Cat. # 52-3-SGNB
Ser. # D-129993

If you had already not done so,
I would post this under Domestic Hot Water. I bet Larry Weingarten might have an answer or know where an answer can be had."If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"

Here's something
Hello: I found an ad for the heater from 1950. It's an interesting heater worth maintaining. Finding parts could be interesting.
Yours, Larry0
