The lines when using fiberglass insulation. After a year or two the zeston tape does not hold up to the UV. Duct tape the same ?

    CP 10 Adhesive...

Trowel or hand apply, finish with a brush. Use to come in White or Bronze colors. Its water based, so you can probably color it however you want.

Dries to a rough raw hide finish similar to a vinyl cover, except it is UV resistant.

It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.

    wierd

I could have sworn I posted to this already.

we use stucco embossed .020 aluminum, with aluminum elbows and such. all sheet metal screwed in place, and paint to match.  but that said, we only use foam (HT) insulation, no fibreglass outside.

should be able to get it from your insulation provider.

    Check out Dr. Ben's website

You have to jump thru a few hoops to see a good video about insulating a collector loop, but it's worth it:

The second of the "Top3 Mistakes" is poor quality on the collector loop insulation.

He mentions that fiberglass can get wet outside, but I think most foams have the same potential problem.
