Cast iron radiators instead of baseboard

I am looking to replace the hot water baseboard in one zone with cast iron radiators .  Currently its a 3/4 inch one pipe loop all the way around with the circulator pumping back to the return.   Wondering whats the best way to pipe this .   Thanks

    Radiators/Baseboards

Not like that. You can't connect radiators like baseboard with a series loop. They have to be connected in a way that all radiators receive hotter water, all at once. "Reverse or Direct Return". Or some way in which a small amount of the heated water goes into the radiators and a small amount comes out. "One Pipe System".

You'll probably need a 1' Main with Mono-flows and 1/2" risers.  It can become complicated.

    or... you might think about

using a radiant manifold and pipe supply/return to each radiator from the centrally located manifold. I done that many times with good success.

You could also use a remote manifold

close to the zone and run individual lines to and from each radiator. I am old fashion as I see reverse return as the most professional looking way and the best way to do it. Nice even flow with little chances of imbalance or velocity noise. Also not spaghetti hanging from your floor joists. Like I said I am just old fashion.
Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
