Am I understanding that with the power gas gun you CAN vent out the side W/O a chimney ?

If so,..do you have much problems going through a stone foundation?  (It didn't seem like the gas company did with installing a larger supply through it but it was of course much smaller than a vent would be.)

    You'd need

a power-venter such as a Field or Tjernlund to do it. Also you'd need to exit the building at least a foot higher than the highest snow accumulation recorded in your area, for obvious reasons.

Power-venters have moving parts and WILL need servicing. That's one nice thing about chimneys- no moving parts.
