Hi All.
I am inquiring to see if anyone out there has experience w/ the EZ water treatment system that it all the advertising rage on talk radio. Does it do what it says? I have a friend w/ poor water(hardness) that has had a softener for years now but the salt needed to get it to run right is killing the pipes and equipment. Water tastes terrible. water treatment co. says it is working right but IDK.
So before I spend that kind of money i am throwing it out there. What say ye!

Water boss
Is what I use. Its still a salt softener, but it only regenerates as needed, not at set daily times needed or not. My city water hardness is 28 grains with out treatment.
If you are looking for different softening media I have no experience with their effectiveness.0 -

Another miricle product:
Wow!! Another miracle product.
You need a better water softener. You need one that is metered and uses only the amount of water it is programed to use before regenerating. Plus, you media bed (Cation) is probably shot and needs replacement. You can also use Potassium Chloride instead of Sodium Chloride.
How's the PH of the raw water? If the PH is low, water softeners don't work very well. You may need a neutralized first.
If you get that kind of scuzz inside your water pipes, you have the wrong filters for your conditions.0 -
Sounds like...
A Clear Wave conditioner.

Although I have no personal experience with this particular conditioner, I do have substantial experience with magnetic conditioners, and they do in fact work to eliminate hard water scaling.
Field Controls can't afford to be selling junk, so it MUST work.
