how suitable are Rastra Insulated concrete forms for slab edge insulation in a radiant floor job- if the radiant slab is poured right up against the Rastra blocks without an additional thermal break, how serious is the slab edge heat loss into the Rastra blocks?

You'll be fine...
Rastra block has decent R value. Most slabs get NO thermal break, and they work fine, although not the most efficient use of energy tho...
