Finding the BTU rate

I have a ROCKMILL MP50 boiler fire tubed from 1968 , the customer wants a duel oil/gas burner for this existing boiler. Now the gas entering the building is undersized and I need new service , I have to provide the gas company with the BTU rate for the boiler. Which is not listed on the face plate , the only info on the face plate is its VOLUME capacity :2,000 lbs. and its heating supply :250 sq feet. The representative at the company told me it burns at 15 gallons an hour but did not rpovide me with the proper or correct BTU rating. Anybody have any idea how I can obtain this calculation ?
Thanks

To convert EDR to BTU's, multiply EDR by 240 for steam.
The MP-50 is rated at 6,975 EDR x 240 = 1,674,000 BTU's.8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

I think the firing rate would be 2,000,000 btuh +/-There was an error rendering this rich post.

BTU input
If the boiler is rated for 15 GPH of #2 oil, then the rated input would be 140,000 BTU/gal x 15 = 2,100,000 BTU/hour0
