Two years ago, I purchased several Vari-Vents. I kept one as a spare and put it into service a few weeks ago. Very shortly thereafter, it failed closed. Since I only live a few miles from Heat-Timer's plant in Fairfield, NJ, I stopped by today. They were very courteous and gave me a replacement on the spot.
