Manual 4Way ESBE settings

I have a 4way ESBE valve in my home radiant hotwater system and want it to deliver the maximum hot water. Would that be the #10 setting on the valve? From the diagram of the 4way valve it seems to indicate that all the supply water would be coming from the boiler. Thanks for any assistance.
