Hi Dan,



I just received my "Got Steam Heat" book...the first example you gave of a knucklehead just happened to me last month...if I had your book on December 1st I would have saved $133 in a service call to have the knucklehead increase my operating pressure from 2psi to 5psi...when in fact my problem was that my supply main vent was stuck shut.  Thanks to the great folks over in "Strictly Steam" I have lowered it back down to 0.5/1.0, and ordered some Gorton vents to have installed later this week.  I managed to find someone who knows how to spell "Mouat", so I'm hopeful...
