This tank looks like a (well) pressure tank but is a domestic hot water tank with a coil in the bottom inserted via a bolted flange.
Does anybody know who made these and what materials were used? Do they hold up?

was the manufacturer. They were connected to a warm air furnace with a glycol loop.
I have never installed any but I had taken quite a few out.
If I recall properly they had a lifetime warranty on the tank at that time.
There was some type of trouble with the units and many were being replaced at the time but that had to be 25 years ago.0 -

These things seem to have had a pretty mixed record over the years, from what I can see online. Anybody using them now?
