Steam fun in the summer

I grew up in the town of Mt. Pleasant, IA. It is the home of Midwest Old Threshers & Settlers Reunion. It is a marvelous steam show, and as a kid, I spent a lot of time hanging around and watching the old guys work on their toys.
One time, I remember the local dairy had a major boiler problem. So, as a solution for emergency steam for about 7 days, they got someone from old threshers to drive a steam engine out to the dairy, plumbers hooked up temporary lines, and they they were up and running.
