Hooking up a propane furnace
Dodge
Member Posts: 3
I have a few questions about installing a propane furnace in my shop ; the furnace has an oval shape pipe on the exhaust , should I use the wood stove type pipe for venting this ? How hot will it get? , its 10 feet before it goes thru the tin roof and insullation , should I use insullated pipe to go thru the tin ? Also is there a flexable gas line avaliable to use for the lp gas , its bout 20 feet to the tank or would I be better off useing copper ? Thanks

Venting furnace
Around pipe squeezed will make your oval, depending on size I would use 24 or 26 ga. Then go to b- vent, the b-vent needs 1" clearance where it goes thru anything combustible. Soft copper and flare fittings for the gas line.0
