Valliant (sp) Boiler in uninsulated shed?

When we built our home we didn't have room in the plans for the boiler to be "inside." So we build a little shed attached to the house, on its own slab. Originally the shed was insulated, but over the years due to mice and bats it has been pulled out and tossed. I'm concerned we are wasting propane and it is critical that the insulation factor is replaced. This is a very wet climate and the winters hover between 24-50 degrees. And the moisture has taken a toll on some (particularly ceramic) parts, already. I guess the real question is, what is the best environment for those boilers? Thanks!!

Well Dry.....
for starters. Sounds like you used fiberglass. I would do foam...spray foam would be best. You will need to bring in fresh air if you already have not. got pix? Where is this located?0
