Im looking to buy a honeywell L408J - 1009 vaporstat and the spec sheet says it is rated for 120 volts, will it work at 24 volts.

it is a simple switch. I am assuming you are talking the 24 volts used with a gas boiler system.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
