tekmar steam control 279 help

hey guys glad to find this site hope you guys can help,

I work in a private school and i am having trouble using the tekmar panel to turn off the heat, the panel works fine its me that is the problem,

see when the temp is say 40 outside and the heat is going and the students are hot i can easlie change the boiler kick on anything below 39 degrees

but the problem is that its been cold here and i believe you cant set the boiler to turn on anything under 35,

so when everyone gets hot i am force to flip the switch on the boiler it self making the tekmat panel useless .

my question is what setting do i have to change on the tekmar to turn the boiler off.

o we we only have the outside senser and the steam pipe senser. please help guys

tekmar has excellent tech support, try them at     (250) 545-7749    i spoke to daniel.

he may suggest you install the indoor sensor, and maybe that should be a plan for you.--nbc
