Only one pipe on the riser?

I was just watching Dan's video on how piping should be done on a steam boiler, and after going back downstairs just to look again, only one pipe comes up out of the top of the boiler, instead of two like in the video. Should there be two or is one enough?
I don't have my camera ready, since I know pictures work better. So I used my webcam to capture the best pictures I could.

It depends
on the size and configuration of your boiler. the installation manual has a piping digram that shows the options for the various models within a product line. Smaller boilers often only have a single riser, as the number of boiler sections increase the manufacturer will specify two takeoffs at some point.
