my company just installed a burnham in7.i got to the job during the installation.we used 2 2" risers coming out and then ran a 2"header.at the end of the header we used a full 2"tee but on the bull.the run of the tee went for both the equalizer and to pick up the 2 inch steam main.when i read the instruction manual it calls for a 3" header, which i pointed out.the reply was these books are written by engineers who dont know anything,i got 25 years doing this, dont try tell me my job.i read in dans book on steam never to bullhead a tee.im wondering what kind of call backs will we get.

surging steam. Wet steam. or nothing at all as the home owns get told "It's Steam, Its noisy, What do you expect?" Wonder how they sized it? I should have you leave my card when you get done with that guy on jobs.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
