My company installed a 9 sect steam with 80 gallon indirect all done IAW manufactures specs. This is a very large residential home. Boiler was sized to existing load. Water maker is hooked up to boiler as follows. MAker has 11/4" tappings. Used 11/4" copper to boiler. Feed comes out of front lower tapping of boiler to circ then flow check. Returns into 1 1/4" return by hartford loop on system side. Installed flow check on return pipe also. Purge valve installed with isolation valves. Water maker is wired to a 8845u relay with XX thru 6006 aqua sta to shut down on temp rise to burner control. This is oil fired boiler. When there is a call for hot water heat migrates up header pipes and heats up a couple radiators. WE disconected thermostat to eliminate it. Problem still persists. Installed a second 6006 aqua stat in the front section in series with rear one set one at 160  one at 150. Problem still persists. Skimmed boiler. all cheked out good. Water very clean. Check out aquastat wells, Clean, Replaced wells problem still persists. I forgot to mention we do have a bypass installed IAW man. Specs. Boiler is all piped IAW man. Specs 2 2 1/2" Rizors with swing joints after rear rizor  into a tee to header pipe then to equalizor down to 2" down the hartford loop tee 2" below water level. Used close 2" nipple on tee too 2"x2"x1/2" heel ell for feed & to the 1 1/4" return piping. This is a 2 pipe system. All line vents were replaced & all radiators have adjustable vari vents on them, All radiators heat up good on there call for heat.
