I read that a coil should read 1350 ohms (term 1 and 2 with the wires disconnected). I changed a coil reading 700 ohms thinking it is faulty, but the new one only read 825 ohms. What am I doing wrong?

meter
Has your meter been calibrated? Is there corrosion or something causing resistance between the terminals? What do you get between 2 & 8? The chart says 1215 to 1485 ohms. Check it with another meter it is possible you have 2 bad coils.0
