    Hissing Radiator!!!!!

I am away from home, visiting in Portland, Oregon.  My son's apartment has hydronic radiant heat in the ceiling.  Each room has its own T'stat.  It is comfortable, but soooooo boring!

I am missing the soft radiant glow of our cast iron hot water heat at home, and of the Vapor heating system at the Louis P Best Mansion Apartments.  The warmth from a radiator is close to the pleasant glow of a fireplace.  I'm thinking about hanging the stockings over the radiator next year!

    Merry Christmas to all!!!
