i bought a house with an old wood/coal boiler tied into an old gas boiler. i'm upgrading. the question is: is there a resale market for the wood/coal boiler? seems to be in solid shape. hate to junk it.

Not much of a resale market.
But that thing has been meticulously cared for. Why not keep it in the event that gas prices go throught the roof?0 -
If you were near Georgia

In GA
Yes, if you were in or near Georgia, I would be interested as I let my heat exchanger freeze and crack last year on an old boiler I moved outside and converted to wood several years ago.
It looks like it would be a bear to get out.0 -
