Is an Amtrol Boilermate serviceable?

Our furnace was leaking water from the pressure relief pipe.  The furnace man came and first replaced the furnace expansion tank. It still leaked so he came back and then replaced the pressure relief valve itself. It still leaked so he came back and drained some water off and then turned off the valve to our Amtrol Boilermate to watch the furnace pressure which had been running a bit high along with the temperature.

Long story short, they now are saying that the problem is in the Boilermate which of course is not covered in our furnace plan. My husband asked about servicing the Boilermate but the furnace man said they have very little success being able to service them and not have them leak. So now we are looking at $800 to $1800 plus installation.  UGH  We were going to just do away with the Boilermate but even though our furnace is a forced hot water system it does not provide domestic hotwater so we have to have a water heater.

Thanks for any advice especially experience with servicing Boilermates.
