Hello and thanks for any info..
I have a forced hot water heating system for two floors. Replaced the electric motor two years ago and impeller unit one year ago. The coupler between the motor and impeller keeps failing. Twice last year and once already this year. What could make this fail?
Thanks

It could be that someone in the past over oiled the motor bearings and some of the oil got on the motor mounts, causing them to soften and the motor to sag. The couplers are meant to turn on the same plane and when it gets off-kilter, they break.
If you've got time on your hands, replace the motor mounts. If not, change the pump out.
