Cleaning my first System 2000

Hey Guys!

I have it scheduled to clean my first System 2000 Ek1 tomorow. Is there anything I need to watch out for or be aware of that may different from a standard oil boiler cleaning?

Thanks!

Mike

    what model?

Frontier or classic EK? Always gingerly with any removable covers with boards behind them, chamber, and don't jump it out to run it, unless you know which terminals. You'll find a lot of debris, but it will be clean, if it is set right. Always combustion testing when finished. Good luck

The homeowner said it was 10 years old... hope that helps ;-)

    probably

not the Frontier. I don't think they have been around 10 years? They could have, but I prefer the classic over the Frontier. I installed my first in 1985, and have done quite a few since. They are constantly improving their product. That in itself says something about the boiler, and it is American made

If you go to their website www.energykinetics.com you'll find tune up info for the system with specs. If you need more specific info than is there call the 800 number for Tech Support
