Barometric pressure,,,
will changes in b/p affect a mod/con boiler?
I had one I set-up in Sept, within specs,, but today it sounded like a foghorn on start-up,,, my previous readings were off(as of now),,, readjusted, things seem normal.
Is this typical of servicing too soon?

Not typical of mine.
Mine makes hardly any noise at all. If I do not look at the modulation bar on its display, or touch any of the piping, the only way I can tell if it is running is to touch the plastic case of the thing. If there is a very slight vibration, it is firing. Otherwise not. The loudest things are the Taco 007 circulators, but they run if there is demand, irrespective of the boiler's firing. If it is cold enough out, I can see some steam coming out of the vent.
I suppose the barometric pressure has changed over the last 18 months.0 -

Could there be any truth to Edgar Cayce LOL?0
