i have an old home with large ( 2 1/2 inch) hot water pipes in the basement. I cant seem to find a large enuff insulated tube to fit them. What has the highest R value and best way to insulate them?

This link is from a few weeks ago.
Inside it are some other links to insulation manufacturers. You can get pipe insulation in 3' lengths and in various r-values. There is also a link to get elbows and T's. This type of insulation might be overkill for just a water pipe though. I have not seen the closed foam in 2-1/2".
