United States Boiler 25-4

The boiler was installed when the house was built in 1890 we believe. The model number is cast in the metal along with the name. Hey, it never rubs off! Does anyone have any specs on this boiler? I believe it was originally coal fired and converted at some later date to natural gas. Thanks for the help.

Old Boiler
It is almost as old as dirt and about as efficient as heating with it.
The best way to make it more efficient (if that is youe question) is to replace it.0
