On Sunday, I went on a tour of some of the historic homes nearby. Most were still heated by steam (yea!). In a few of them, I got to talk with the owner. Every time I asked whether they knew a good steam pro, the owner would smile, and then I would smile. Unfortunately, I was smiling because I thought I was about to get a name, and they were smiling because they thought I was about to hand them my business card.
This made me wonder whether any pros would consider coming out here (Middletown, OH) if, say, half a dozen people wanted a pro to look things over. I'm would love to have one of you check out my system, and based on the conversations I had on Sunday, there are lots of other folks who would feel the same way. I'm not exactly sure what I'm asking. I think I just want some feedback on this idea. For all I know, you guys are so busy that this would never work.
If it would work, what would it be like? Would you come in and write up work orders, or would you be able to do the work? What time of year would be best? I think that I'm looking for some additional info that I could take to the home owners and see if they want to be in on this.
Just to be clear: I am not asking for any bids. I know we don't discuss prices here, and I respect that. I'm asking more about the logistical side of things.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Bump
I'm willing to do some preliminary work on this--like finding out what people are interested in, what kind of systems they have, where to buy pipe, etc. There was an error rendering this rich post.
