rattling radiator

Hi,



I am just a month into my second winter in my Harlem apartment and my radiator in my bedroom has gone mad.  I am on the top floor. I have radiator heat at work where we have bad water hammer and it is not that.  I was woken up a few nights ago in the middle of the night to a rattling sound.  It sounds kind of like ice in a glass.  I had my super change the air release valve AND the valve where the radiator connects to the pipe in the floor.  He also took the radiator completely off and drained it into a bucket.  None of these things have alleviated the issue at all.  We even tried just turning the heat completely off, but once the building heat kick on the rattling continues and the radiator stays cold.   I have attached a recording of the sound.



Please help so i can sleep!
