Balancing Steam Systems .pdf

Okay, I bought the Balancing Steam Systems PDF. I am looking at the chart and it looks like the Gorton #2 vents are extremely fast compared to everything else. But when I look online to possibly order them, the Gorton #2 doesn't appear to have a big enough opening to fit in the holes that my current main vents use.
BTW, my current main vents appear to be Vent Rite (based on the shape and appearance) but they are rusted solid and don't actually work.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

Reducer
the Ventrite (#35 or #77?) probably has an external 3/4" male and an internal 1/2" female thread. If you have a 3/4" pipe it probably has a 3/4" coupling on it, remove that fitting and replace it with a 3/4 to 1/2" reducing coupling and you should be all set.

This is a brass reducer but a black iron would work fine -
