PE110 Prestige Excellence adding a zone

I have a job where last year we installed a TT Prestige Excellence PE110 nat gas boiler in a home that has cast iron radiators and first and second floor are all on one zone. system works great. reduced home owners energy bill going from oil to Nat gas condensing boiler by 50%. they want to add a second zone with three or four more radiators. the heat loss for this zone will be 20,000 BTU with this boiler minimum fire is 30,000 BTU. With this zone added will it effect the boiler or will it hurt the efficiency of this system?

Depends
Is the sqft of radiation going to be sized to meet the existing heating curve? If so then it should not effect boiler AFUE. Are we adding thermostatics? Is this boiler piped pri/sec or LLH? If zoning I would make sure pri/sec or LLH, zone with zone valves and use an Alpha, Taco VDT or similar pump as a system pump. There was an error rendering this rich post.
