Should I add insulation to my boiler by taking off the blue sheet metal and adding insulation around the boiler. If yes what type?

i did...
if you have a look at my "new" system pics, you will see that I fully insulated anything thing I could on the boiler with K-Wool or Kaowool, or Ins-Wool .. whatever you choose to call it .. it's Ceramic Based insulation. It's rated to 2300degF ..
I figured if I'm making BTUs to get them to my radiators, why do I need them running around in my boiler room. as well, if the theory is sound to insulate the pipes, why not the boiler, I also have a Tankless coil and wanted to keep my water temp up.
I met with SlantFin today and was upfront about having insulated the boiler, they had no issues with it.
You may also want to have a look at where I talk about boiler insulation in my Slantie Thread: http://is.gd/hXSB11-pipe Homeowner - Queens, NYC
