in Strictly Steam
having never used tekmar,I am looking at this controller. Are they reliable? seems like a decent control. Any input good or bad appreciated.  sorry should have posted in the main section....

    Steam or Hot Water?

    Hi- You didn't mention whether your system was steam or hot water.  The Tekmar 256 is for hot water systems and the Tekmar 279 is for one stage steam boilers.  Tekmar makes good control units.
