Laars Mascot 2

Hi has anyone installed a Laars mascot 2 boiler? It appears to be a completely different boiler from the previous Baxi made version.

Any info would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to decide between several different combis and I had ruled out the previous mascot because of poor user set up requirements and spotty reliability.

Also I realise the advantage to the TT excellence method of DHW production, but what kind of performance would I get from a flat plate exchanger for short water draws(ie hand washing). My DHW requirements are low, 3-4GPM would suit us fine.

    I will be trying one....

soon. I have a 27" wide cubbie hole to fit a combi unit in. This one looks the most serviceable. One shower, lav, and kitchen are it for hot water needs. The stated 3.5 gpm of continuous hot water should suffice. This is for a 400sq.ft. detached guest house with 2 small zones of radiant.
