Insulating a boiler

I have a coal/steam furnace converted to oil/steam. I would like to insulate it. What should I use?

I used kaowool ceramic insulation.

T should be available at a good insulation supply house. See my NEW system pics below in my signature.

I have had R5.4 foam board with the metal foil covering

on my uninsulated tankless (of 1939 boiler) for 20 years. Also, on the top of the boiler as an attempt to enhance inside "insulation." Tech's have never raised their eyebrows. It looks fine and really reduces outside temp of tankless. Might be the way to go at least on flat surfaces. I tied wrap mine. Don't know if using an epoxy would be appropriate.
