Radiator leak

We recently bought a house with radiators. It has been unoccupied for at least three years. When we turned on the hearing system on of the radiators collected a large pool of water from a crack in it. Is there an easy way to test the other radiators for leaks without turning on the boiler and waiting for water to leak out. We have cast iron radiators with a two pipe system

The vents can be removed and

plugged and the main line vents can be plugged and the system air tested with a compressor. That said some leaks may not show up until after the heat from the steam expands the radiators. Also note there is no reliable way to permanently repair a radiator if the section has cracked. Epoxy mixes can be used to get you through a time but that time should be spent looking for a new radiator. They can be repaired if the push nipple between sections is what is leaking.
Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
