Weil-McLain Boiler Control Fault

Hi,

I have a Weil-McLain Boiler Model VHE-4 that provides baseboard heat to the house. The unit cycles correctly, fan comes on pump activates igniter glowes and, after 5 seconds the gas flows and ignites. However, the gas only stays on for about 15 seconds then turns off and the cycle repeats. It will go through these steps for about 7 cycles then it stops and a red light on the control unit flashes on and off. The blower and pump continue to operate regardless of the ignition cycles. I can get the sequence to repeat if I turn the power off and on. Do I have a bad controller, sensor or what? (Note: I replaced the blower last year and the pump one month ago without a problem).
